Minimum context, clear control

Steppo creates a signed Guest credential in an HttpOnly browser cookie. The server stores the credential only as a one-way hash. Account records include preferences, Task Credit history, guide access, support cases and task ownership.

Media and conversations

The account system does not collect camera streams, microphone streams, raw audio, raw images, transcripts or full conversation history. Existing camera and voice features keep their separate explicit-capture boundaries.

A Project can hold a small photo journal: each photo is one you explicitly choose and add, it is stored privately and shown only to you, there is a fixed limit per Project, and a Project’s photos are deleted when that Project is archived.

Guest continuity

Guest access is local to this browser. Clearing site data can remove that access until account linking and recovery are introduced with authentication.

Support

Support reports contain only the text you enter and bounded technical references. Do not include secrets or private media.
